Hello
C’est magnifique
Could you please show a picture of the inside of the « chaloupe » without soldiers ? How did you implant all the sittings ?
Danke sehr
Here’s a picture of the boat taken from the top. I didn’t include a proper seat in the front although this could be done by including one of those triangular seats from the smaller row boats.
The front and back of the the benches are actually only put in place. The front one is quite stable since it resets against the “pillars”. The one in the back is a bit wobbly and could benefit from some attachment to the hull of the ship (for example, use some other plastic part to fill the gap and attach everything by using glue).
However, the seat is more stable if the figures are holding the oars since this adds stability.
The middle seat is strongly attached to the boat and even holding the boat upside down won’t remove the seat from its position.
I cut out a small gap at the bottom of the “pillars” where this seat slides into and “snaps into place”.
The last thing is to drill a wider hole into the two “pillars” in the front. The attachment for the oars just fits in and sits tightly without any additional glue.
