Question about hair of some figures
I want to ask you if the hair of some figures can be removed and be replaced with other hair
30 00 5322 - Man, blue and green clothes, bare feet
30 10 2620 - Boy with brown hair, dolphins on shirt, sandals
30 12 0340 - Baby, brown hair, green swim suit, bare feet
30 10 2590 - Boy, light brown hair, small green swim trunks
30 11 2160 - Girl, black hair, pink two-piece swim suit
4692 - Elf Princess with Baby Unicorn
30 11 1830 - Girl with brown ponytail, yellow shirt, pink pants
Do these figures have this brown thing when removing their hair?
[ externes Bild ]
Also I want to say something else. The children figures from Lyra sets haven't this brown thing behind their hair, but their hair are stuck with the head,so when I tried to remove hair of some figures, they were damaged
Mod-Edit Ute: Please don't use original pictures from the playmodb - only links!!!

Re: Question about hair of some figures
I had also tried to remove hair from some babies of victorian house, and they damaged too, because their hair are also stuck with head.
And it happens the same in some children figures from victorian sets (at least in the Greek market).
k5620b - Girl, pink dress, green sailor collar
30 10 0650 - Wedding ringbearer
k5311a - Boy, red/white/blue clothes, light blue bowtie
k5311b - Girl, white dress, blue sailor collar with bow
k5402a - Boy, brown hair, white suit, blue sailor collar
k5403 - Boy, blue and yellow clothes, red bowtie
But having bought the set 5502 two times,I realised in this figure that:
30 11 0170 - Girl, pink and green dress, frilly white collar
In the first set I bought in 1993,hair were stuck with the head
while in the second set I bought in 1994,its hair could be removed and there was the brown thing behind her head when I removed its hair
Mod-Edit Ute: pictures are deleted - replaced links

Re: Question about hair of some figures
Good morning!
Please don't remove the hair!
The hair of childfigures is glued to the head, you cannot remove it without damage.
Instead of that you may remove the whole head with a pair of pincers.

You don't know how to do this? Please have a look here: Zangenmethode - Eine Methode zum Zerlegen aller Klickies *klick*.

Re: Question about hair of some figures
Thanks for the info...very good!
Do you mean the hair of the new childfigures!
Because the hair of the old geobra childfigures was easy to be removed....(except some figures i mentioned before)
In the first figure (boy/man with pyjamas) is it easy to remove its hair?I think it's an adult figure! My nephew has this, but it's a good figure and I'm afraid of damaging this.

Re: Question about hair of some figures
30 00 5322 - Man, blue and green clothes, bare feet is an adult figure. You can change its hair easily by clicking it away and replacing with some other.
The problem of destroying 'Klickies' by putting their hair away is only a problem of childfigures and babyfigures.

In these figures can I remove this thing in their neck, with a pair of pincers,by removing their head, and then put again their head, without this annoying thing in their neck?

Re: Question about hair of some figures
YES, YOU CAN!
But please try it with less expensive figures before you start with these nice ladies.

Re: Question about hair of some figures
To remove the heads, I use this method:
[ externes Bild ]
You need a soft surface under the feet of the figure.
This can be a soft carpet or a folded towel.
Hold the figure like you see it in the animation.
Propose short and tight (but still with feeling) on its head.
If you have a little practice it is a very good method.
Unfortunately, this method is not appropriated for thick figures or children.
I wish you success and fun.
LG,
