How can I upload pictures?

I have tried but the format was to big. How can I reduce the megabites of a simple photo?

Hello Klerk,

I you own Microsoft (R) Paint, then open your picture with it and reduce the size by "Picture / stretch or drag" and reduce the dimensions to 75 or 50% in X and Y.
By the way sometimes it is enough to save a picture better as JPG than as BMP to save space ...

and short in english:

Use a software to reduce picture-size to max. 1000 x 1000 Pixel and max. 250 kb.

You can use free software for example infranview or xnview. Download these free software only from secure sources (for example Chip.de).

After installing these Software reduce picture-size and maybe file-size (by increasing the jpeg-compression).
